Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Consultant (Contract)

• Fully Remote
• Duration: 12 months (October 15th start)
• Commitment: 32 hours per week (approximately 1,440 hours total)
• Engagement Type: Full cradle-to-grave implementation for Non Profit

We're seeking an experienced Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) Architect to lead a full end-to-end digital transformation for a not-for-profit organisation as they modernise their fundraising and donor management ecosystem.

This is a high-impact engagement where you'll provide strategic advisory services, solution architecture, and hands-on implementation expertise to migrate the organisation from legacy fundraising platforms into a scalable Salesforce-based environment.

The Opportunity

The organisation is currently operating on legacy fundraising and research platforms, including Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud , and is embarking on a strategic migration to Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud .

As the lead consultant, you will own the project lifecycle from Discovery and Advisory through Design and Build , helping shape both the technical architecture and future-state operating model.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Strategy & Implementation

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Design and deliver a Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud solution aligned to fundraising, donor management, and grant tracking requirements.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Technology Assessment & Integration Advisory

• Assess the current technology landscape, including Raiser's Edge, Blackbaud, and associated fundraising tools.
• Advise on whether existing platforms should be retired, retained, or integrated into a hybrid ecosystem.
• Recommend complementary technologies and integration approaches that support long-term organisational goals.

Fundraising & Grants Transformation

• Design and optimise processes for:
• Fundraising management
• Donation acceptance and tracking
• Grant application and request management
• Constituent and donor engagement

Marketing Cloud Enablement

• Advise on and configure Marketing Cloud email communication workflows.
• Support campaign automation, stakeholder communications, and engagement best practices.

Data Governance & Change Management

• Partner closely with internal Data Administrators and business stakeholders.
• Establish governance frameworks and operational best practices.
• Guide teams on effectively leveraging Salesforce within their broader technology ecosystem.
• Drive adoption and organisational change throughout the programme.

Ideal Experience

• Proven experience delivering Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud implementations.
• Strong Salesforce solution architecture and business process design expertise.
• Experience migrating organisations from Raiser's Edge , Blackbaud , or similar fundraising platforms.
• Knowledge of fundraising, donor management, grants management, and nonprofit operations.
• Marketing Cloud experience preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and advisory skills.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on during implementation.
