This role focuses on production planning, communication, workflow coordination, performance tracking, and resolving issues that affect daily output. The Production Manager works closely with the Portioning and Packaging Supervisors while allowing each supervisor to retain responsibility for the day-to-day operation of their department.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with production data, and able to keep multiple departments aligned with company priorities.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate daily and weekly priorities across the Portioning and Packaging departments
  • Communicate production plans, order requirements, deadlines, and operational changes
  • Monitor production progress, throughput, yields, waste, rework, and completion targets
  • Identify staffing, material, equipment, or workflow issues that could affect production
  • Work with department supervisors to resolve delays and keep production on schedule

  • Confirm departments have the information, materials, and resources needed to meet production goals
  • Track recurring problems and recommend improvements to workflow and production processes
  • Support the implementation and consistent use of SOPs and production systems
  • Review production documentation and ensure required information is complete and accurate
  • Provide management with clear updates regarding progress, delays, risks, and operational needs
  • Assist with production planning as volume, products, and company operations expand
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous production-management experience in food manufacturing, manufacturing, assembly, or a related environment
  • Experience coordinating multiple departments or stages of production
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and tight production deadlines
  • Experience tracking production data, yields, throughput, or performance metrics
  • Ability to identify operational problems and follow through on solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation
  • Comfortable using production, inventory, ERP, or MRP systems
  • Food-manufacturing or prepared-meal experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and quality standards preferred
Benefits
  • Health and dental insurance after 45 days
  • Paid time off
  • Employee discount
  • Stable, full-time employment
  • Growth opportunities within an expanding food-manufacturing company

If you are an organized production professional who can keep people, information, and departments moving in the same direction, we’d love to hear from you.
